Refund Policy
Last updated: 23 June 2026
This policy explains our approach to refunds and cancellations, and it’s meant to be simple and honest. In short: all sales are final, and you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. You can try everything on the free plan and the live demos before you pay, so please review the plan details on our Pricing page and take it for a spin first.
Why we don’t offer refunds
WeatherBoard includes a free plan and live demo boards for all 50 states so you can fully examine the product — the interface, the data, the look of your boards — before you ever pay. Feature differences between plans are listed in full on the Pricing page, so you know exactly what a paid plan adds before subscribing.
Because you can evaluate everything for free first, we operate an all-sales-final policy. It keeps pricing fair and low for everyone, and it prevents misuse of paid plans for short-term, one-off needs — for example, subscribing only for the duration of a single storm or event and then requesting a refund. We’d rather put that energy into the product, and keep prices low, than subsidize that kind of churn.
Cancellation
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period you’ve already paid for;
- your subscription does not renew, and you are not charged again;
- at the end of the period your account moves to the free plan (your data and boards within free-plan limits are retained).
Cancelling stops future charges; it does not generate a refund for the current or past periods.
Exceptions
Even though sales are final, we’ll always try to do right by you. So:
- Where required by law. Nothing in this policy removes any statutory refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer law that applies to you.
- Duplicate or accidental charges. If you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge), contact us and we will correct it.
- Service failure. If a technical fault on our side made a paid feature unusable and we were unable to resolve it, contact us and we will make it right at our discretion.
How to contact us
Email help [at] weatherboard.net from the address on your account, including your order or receipt number. Any approved correction is handled by our third-party payment processor (Merchant of Record) and returned to your original payment method; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
Chargebacks
If you have any concern about a charge, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
